Welcome to Dante's, Dracu's & Stella's homepage!

You have arrived at my beloved dogs, Stella's, Dante's and Darcu's webpage! I'll try to update all the new competitions, news and common comings and goings when ever I have time. Before you leave, it would be nice of you to sign our guestbook with a comment or two. Please remember that all the material on my page is mine or I have permission to use it from its owner, so don't copy anything without my permission, thanks.

I got Stella when I was eight years old. I had been begging for a dog ever since my sister moved out with her dog and finally one day my dad announced we were going to go see this one litter. So we drove to the countryside to see these little 10 week old mix breed pups. I fell immediately in love with the little pup named Stella, who was the runt of the litter. Later in life people have asked me do I regret taking Stella, because she is a mix breed, and half a Norwegian elk dog, and I can easily tell them no. Stella is really one of a kind and I can’t think of a better first dog for me. I doubt I’ll ever find an other dog like her, she really is a dog like no other. Stella is now close to 12 years old and still people see us walking on the street and want to come pet the puppy! I'm positive we will have many more eventful years ahead.

Dante on the other hand came to me in spring 2005 after a lot of consideration. I had been thinking of getting a new dog to keep Stella company and to do dog sports with me, because Stella was all ready six years old. After a lot of search and thinking I finally decided that the next dog would be an Australian shepherd. When I first met Sara, I knew this was the bitch I wanted my pup from. Sara had 4 puppies and just one bitch, so no bitch for me as I had hoped. But I loved the little red boy since I first saw the pups and a few weeks later Dante came to live with us. After getting used to a male, I can't say I regret taking Dante, he is an amazing dog and perfect for me in so many ways and I have learned so much with him. He has not been a easy dog, but what can I say - he's my own little pain-in-the-you-know-what :)

My sweet little Dracu was even a more planned dog than Dante. After learning more about aussie lines etc. I knew just what I wanted, and was sure my standards were so high I would never get a new dog! But then I found Isabelle's website and liked the planned cross right away. This time I was absolute with my decision to have a female and I got a beautiful, dark red tri girl. First time I met her, she bit me on the thump and she was named Dracu, short for Dracula. The name is perfect, she has a special smile where she shows all her white teeth, very cute/scary! She is a super sweet darling and will follow Dante's footsteps in the competition arenas! Even though I love Stella and Dante, Dracu has stolen my heart completly and she is my dog-in-a-lifetime.
